Glare Guard was designed to target the shorter wavelengths of blue light that, during the day, lead to visual discomfort. (glare, accommodative stress, loss of contrast). Glare Guard allows a significant percentage of longer blue light wavelengths to pass through the lens, helping us stay awake and alert. Many progressive lens wearers find that wearing Glare Guard with a small amount of plus power provides additional visual comfort.
